Is HIV is AIDS ?Universal answer is no.Everybody knows that one is the "virus' & other one is the symptom of different Opportunistic Infections.One is the beginning or starting point & the other one is the destination point where ultimately life ends after a certain period of Gap. But my concern is that why everybody though aware of the difference between the two using the symbol of "or" not "and" while referring HIV & AIDS.
I think every body knows the difference between "/" and "&" .Now it is upto you to think about it.

Now, it is changed. I can't tell the exact meeting where, it is decided that onwards, HIV & AIDS will be written rather HIV/AIDS. I will give the details about the meeting later on.
