sex, religion, and spiritulity
For me, spiritulity is an individual journey of self discovery. I do not see any contradiction in sex and spirituality, but in my earlier days there was confusion, guilt and misunderstanding , perhaps because of my reading of some religious writings. Religion has other aspects--rituals, structure, followings, social context etc. and eventually gets also politicised. In this process individual understanding may get distorted. One's original , first hand journey may be lost in religions and scriptures. Religions give sanction to certain types of sex, because it has to follow existing social norms or patterns. It has less flexibility because of the structure and rituals. One needs to be aware of this, more so if you do not fall in the path of the majority . Tyranny of the majority can not be avoided. But follow your insticts, keep learning , and ask questions if you want to enjoy the fun of first hand learning.

Organized religion is like politics, you have to confirm to one and stick with that, because you do not get much choices in any of the religion, no wonder non believers are growing and Barack Obama in his inaugural speech has acknowledged them for the first time.
But this discussion is really good.
